All payments go through Stripe (same company that handles payments for millions of businesses worldwide). Your card info never touches our servers. Heavy-Duty subscriptions renew monthly unless you cancel (which you can do anytime).

Conversion accuracy: Advanced email parsing algorithms do their best to preserve formatting, but 100% accuracy isn't guaranteed for all email formats and attachments. Always double-check converted documents for accuracy.
File size limits: Standard users get 25MB total upload. Heavy-Duty users get significantly higher limits (500MB+) but subject to reasonable use policies.
Compliance responsibility: While the service meets compliance standards, you're responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable professional standards and regulations in your area.
Liability and Protection
Professional liability insurance: Email to Doc maintains comprehensive professional liability insurance covering technology errors and omissions.
User indemnification: You agree to protect Email to Doc against claims arising from unauthorized use, violation of professional standards, or breach of confidentiality obligations.
Liability limits: Email to Doc's liability won't exceed the total amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, except for willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Email to Doc maintains the highest standards of confidentiality:
- Attorney-client privilege: No waiver or compromise of privilege
- HIPAA compliance: Full compliance with healthcare privacy requirements
- Professional secrecy: Adherence to confidentiality standards
- Data minimization: Only collect what's needed for service delivery
- No third-party sharing: No sharing of data with unauthorized parties

Account Termination
You can leave anytime: Terminate your account through account settings. All data gets immediately scheduled for secure deletion.
Service termination: Accounts can be terminated for violations of professional standards, security breaches, or non-compliance with these terms. You'll get 30 days notice except for serious violations.
Data cleanup: All user data gets securely deleted according to the data retention policy. Deletion certificates are available for your records if needed.
Dispute Resolution
Professional mediation first: Any disputes get addressed through professional mediation by qualified technology law mediators.
Arbitration if needed: If mediation fails, disputes get resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules.
